Ryan Reynolds has debunked the recent rumors surrounding his Lady Deadpool casting in Deadpool and Wolverine.
One of the Merc with a Mouth's variants that are expected to appear in the film is Lady Deadpool. However, Marvel Studios has not revealed which actor or actress is playing the role.
Some fans have speculated that the character might also be played by Reynolds, which would be a great gag of the film. There are also rumors that his wife Blake Lively might also be playing the role instead.

In a recent interview, Reynolds weighed in on the rumors surrounding his alleged casting as Lady Deadpool in Deadpool and Wolverine.
He denied that he was playing the female variant, and he was also not aware during filming of who was cast for the role.
"I love listening to the conspiracy theories about who it could be, and my favorite one that traveled quite a bit was they think it was me. I don’t know how I could do that with my hips, I cannot walk like that to save my life. My shoulders are absurdly broad for a suit like that, so no, it is not me," the actor said.
"I am going to find out myself. I specifically said not to tell me when we were shooting. I was like, 'Pick anyone you want, alright? And don’t tell me.'"
While it would have been hilarious if it was revealed that Reynolds also played Lady Deadpool, as it turns out, that won't be the case at all and we can expect a different performer when we hear her voice in the film.
The number one guess right now for most fans is Lively since she is the spouse of Reynolds and it would be a great easter egg that the audience would be delighted at.
There are also speculations that Taylor Swift might also be playing the character despite reports already debunking her involvement in the film.
For now, let's wait and see who will end up seeing or hearing once we see the film in its entirety.
Deadpool and Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
