Daemon's visions in House of the Dragon have included White Walkers, the Mother of Dragons, and the Three-Eyed Raven ā all solid Game of Thrones easter eggs, but also a potential hint at an obscure fan theory.

Daemon's Vision Foreshadows an Integral Part of the GOT Apocalypse
House of the Dragon season 2 shows Daemon Targaryen in a very different light than fans were used to seeing.
However, episode 8 titled The Queen Who Ever Was turned the intensity to 11, as the finale seemed to foreshadow some crucial events from Game of Thrones.
Whether Daemon's visions are there to help or harm, they do seem to align with the timeline established by George R.R. Martin, while also dropping hints here and there about his eventual fate.
In this case, Daemon's vision of White Walkers? Well, fans think it means his connection to the infamous creatures is stranger than we could ever guess.
According to one fan theory, Daemon Targaryen bears a striking resemblance to the White Walkers in his vision, but more specifically, to their leader, the Night King.
Apart from Daemon's facial structure, the Night King also seems to have the Targaryen's signature silver-blonde hair color. Could this be the fate House of the Dragon has in store for Daemon?
In R.R. Martin's novel Fire & Blood (which House of the Dragon season 2 is based on), Daemon died after facing Aemond, but his body was never found. Fans surmised that he may have been punished by the gods, but what if that actually points to a fate far worse than death?
Daemon's White Walker vision could be a clue in this puzzle. If resurrected as the Night King, the theory goes, Daemon can still be a ruler like he always wanted. Except, of course, now he's ice cold and dead while attempting to conquer the Seven Kingdoms.
However, fans on the other side of this theory argued the similarities could be down to coincidence. Maybe Daemon saw a random White Walker in his vision, not necessarily the Night King.
You'd have to squint a lot to unsee the differences in features, we'll give them that!
Another fan pointed out that Game of Thrones established how long ago the White Walkers were born: they were the "original first men" even before the Targaryens arrived. White Walkers were created by the Children of the Forest between 8,000 and 12,000 years before the events of both shows, so the vision connection with Daemon's timeline is tenuous at best.
Others refuse to buy into this theory, especially since Daemon's visions are not always interpreted accurately.
It is possible that the visions simply existed to push Daemon in the right direction and that is to bend the knee to his wife, Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen.
