"The soul of the Valley is on the line."
Netflix has released a new teaser for Cobra Kai Season 4 while confirming the release date of the highly-anticipated chapter of the Karate Kid spinoff series.
Although no actual new footage was revealed, the teaser hypes up the return of the All Valley Karate Tournament, and ends with the confirmation that Cobra Kai Season 4 will be released in December 2021, which is about a year after the release of Cobra Kai Season 3.
Fans already expected the return of the All Valley Tournament after watching the events of Season 3. By the end of that season, a deal was made between Cobra Kai, Miyagi-Do, and Johnny Lawrence's new dojo Eagle Fang. If Cobra Kai loses thetournament, it'll disband; but if it wins, they will continue with their current course and Kreese will still be the sensei. The end of Season 3 also saw the beginning of the alliance between Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang, so it's likely that Season 4 will build-up to that highly-anticipated event.
Last May, Netflix released a teaser confirming the return of Terry Silver, the multi-millionaire villain first introduced in Karate Kid 3, and actor Thomas Ian Griffith will reprise his antagonistic role.
Although Netflix didn't reveal the exact release date, at least we now know that it will arrive by the end of this year, and with other exciting Netflix originals like The Witcher Season 2, Stranger Things Season 4, and YOU Season 3, there's a lot to look forward to on Netflix for the remainder of 2021.
