There were several interesting things that happened in Captain Marvel. For one, the Skrulls turned out to be the good guys in the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. However, preparing to play the green aliens wasn't an easy task. An actor who portrayed one of the Skrulls has just revealed that it took several hours to get ready.
Redditor Helper86 has just shared a photo of himself as a Skrull in Captain Marvel. Take a look at the picture below.

OK, so he's not in the Skrull costume but Helper86 had some interesting details to share about his time as a green alien. When asked how long it took to finish the Skrull makeup, he had a lengthy response.
"The first day it took two make up artists 5 hours. After that they got a little faster and were able to do it in 3.5 hours. It's basically a neck, a chin, a nose plus cheekbones, the forehead and headpiece are one and two ears. They glue everything to the skin individually. Because of that regular emotions can be shown. It's basically a second skin. They put lots of spray paint, but also removable tattoos on top of the head and neck. The hands and nail got done. I had to wear black contact lenses and a mouthpiece illustrating their teeth," Helper86 wrote.
The Redditor also saw the humor in his role. "How do we know you're not a Skrull playing a human? For all we know you could be Brie Larson," one comment read.
"Impossible to know. We all know the Skrulls are notorious for tricking us," he wrote.
Helper86 has yet to confirm which Skrull he played. Some people are hoping that he might have been the one who impersonated Phil Coulson or even Talos' "science guy."
Although it is still unclear if the Skrulls will return this year, Captain Marvel is expected to join the fight in Avengers: Endgame, which premieres on April 26.
