Resident Evil and Capcom, in general, has been going through a resurgence in recent years, which is good news for gamers everywhere. Resident Evil 7 proved to be the kind of revival Capcom's long-running franchise needed while this year's Resident Evil 2 Remake showed impressive dedication to improving a classic and we can't wait to see what's next. Looks like Capcom is working on the next game in the series as the company has asked fans to test out a new game that's still in progress.
Capcom sent out an invitation to members of Japan's Resident Evil Ambassador club, called the Biohazard Ambassador in the country since that's the series' name there. They asked fans to try out a game that is currently in development, not stating what it is, though a new Resident Evil title seems to be the obvious option.
Whether it's Resident Evil 8 or the Resident Evil 3 Remake, it's something for fans to be hyped about. A remake of Resident Evil 3 would be nice since it would let fans have all the numbered games on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. Resident Evil 8 would also be amazing since fans want to see where Capcom will take this series.
No release date for either game was mentioned, so we'll have to wait and see. Fans can get Resident Evil 7 and the Resident Evil 2 Remake now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
