Bridgerton returned to Netflix on March 25, 2022 for its second season, bringing fans back to the ton with eight brand-new episodes. Season 2 of Bridgerton shifts the focus away from Daphne and Simon to Anthony Bridgerton in his quest to search for a suitable match. Considerably less steamy than the first season, but equally compelling, Bridgerton Season 2 features the same all-star cast with the welcome addition of the Sharma sisters.
The Regency-era period drama broke the record for Netflix's most viewed English-language TV show, viewed for over 193 million viewing hours within its first three days and 251.7 million hours over its debut week. About a month later, the show is still ranking high on the streamer's Top 10 global charts for Original TV series.

According to showrunner Shonda Rhimes, the creative team behind Bridgerton Season 3 already started work. In March 2022, Lady Whistledown herself shared a hint about the production schedule, with actress Nicola Coughlan telling Women's Wear Daily's Instagram account that she expects to start filming this summer.
Let's take a look at the first two seasons. Bridgerton Season 1 started filming in July 2019, and wrapped around seven months later in Feb. 2020. This was right before everything shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Season 1 was released on Netflix 10 months later in Dec. 2020. That's likely due to the challenges of the restrictions due to the pandemic.
Bridgerton Season 2 started production in March 2021, and wrapped in Nov. 2021 around eight months later. Season 2 arrived four months later in March 2022.
