Will The Book of Boba Fett finally get its long-awaited season 2? The star of the show, Temuera Morrison, has unfortunate news for the fans anticipating the bounty hunter's return.
The Book of Boba Fett Star Needs To "Nudge" Idea of Season 2 Before It Comes To Fruition
As fans remain disappointed that Boba Fett's expected cameo has been overshadowed in The Mandalorian, those looking forward to The Book of Boba Fett season 2 will be even more distraught at the news.
As much as The Mandalorian star Kate Sackhoff tried to be hopeful for a season 2, Morrison says he might need 'more nudging' to it.
"Both [Fennec Shand actress Ming-Na Wen] and I wanted to work pretty hard in the hope that they might carry on [and] do a 2 and a 3 and a 4 and a 5 and a 6 and a 7," Morrison recently revealed before sharing an update about the show's potential return.
"I've been trying to nudge them in that direction too," the actor added, "It needs more nudging, but anyway..."

Lucasfilm has yet to reveal whether or not they plan on a season 2 renewal for The Book of Boba Fett, however, Morrison didn't let that get to him as he has plans of his own on what he could do in another possible cameo for The Mandalorian.
"I would actually like my character to visit The Mandalorian, the Mando fort or something, and come in there and kick some real serious a** as well," Morrison said, "The way he did and came into my show, and stole an episode of my show — so I'd like to do the same thing."
Considering that the scripts for The Mandalorian season 4 had been completed before season 3 ended, there's a chance that Boba Fett could come back even for a brief appearance in one of its episodes.
But that remains to be seen until its slated release in May 2026.

For now, The Acolyte episode 6 premieres on Tuesday, July 2 on Disney+.
