OnlyFans star Blue Bonnie, whose real name is Tia Emma Billinger, surprised everyone when she shared a video of her arrest on Instagram on Wednesday, May 21.
Alongside documentary filmmaker Josh Spooner, the two were seen leaning against a police car while Bonnie was being frisked by a policewoman.
But though the footage looked so real, not everyone was convinced that the 26-year-old content creator, famous for allegedly sleeping with 1,057 men in a day, was actually arrested, with many fans questioning the authenticity of her arrest.
Blue Bonnie’s Sister Confirms Her Arrest
The controversial video showed Bonnie and Spooner being surrounded by three police officers. The British personality seemed to be answering questions while leaning against the vehicle.
In the caption, Bonnie’s sister confirmed the arrest, revealing they had no idea yet about what was happening.
“As you may have seen, Tia has been arrested,” she wrote. “We still don’t have clarity on the situation but will keep you all in the loop as soon as we know.”
She then thanked everyone for their support in the “last 24 hours.”
“This isn’t something we wanted to get out but it sems there is no privacy for her anymore,” the sister continued.
Fans Cast Doubt on Arrest Claims
Despite the confirmation of Bonnie’s sister, the incident has still sparked widespread debate among fans and social media users alike about whether the arrest is staged or serious.
In the comment section of her post, user @bigg_1975 claimed the alleged arrest was “filmed on an industrial estate in Guildford, Surrey," and she was even seen posing beside the alleged police vehicle.
“It was all a staged setup,” they said. “She was seen doing poses leaning against the police car.”
Many then noticed the familiar plate number of the police car.
According to X user @JPWR_1984, the police car in Bonnie’s video is “RO23 HRM,” which is used as a prop available to rent in TV and movies.
“The car itself has no identification numbers on the side or roof which would indicate the force the car is assigned to,” they explained. “It’s a TV prop car.”
The prop car is reportedly owned by Police Car Hire UK, which is operated by Blue Light Emergency Group.
In fact, the Toyota Corolla Bonnie was getting into the footage could be seen in Police Car Hire UK’s posts on its Facebook page.
Coincidentally, another OnlyFans star and Bonnie’s sidekick, Lily Phillips, posted a similar “arrest” video on Instagram.
With that being said, fans couldn’t help but question the timing of their arrest, suggesting coordinated staging.
In fact, it was @JPWR_1984 claimed to be true.
“The van she’s in is also used for filming,” they revealed. “This one appears to have been previously used by a Welsh police force.”
‘A Stunt to Gain Notoriety’
With all evidence pointing to the possibility that Bonnie’s arrest was staged, The Sun confirmed that it was just “another pathetic stunt.”
“It’s all part of a stunt to gain notoriety,” a source said. “The cars were hired from Blue Light Film Group who specialise in film props and she used the Slyfield Estate in Guildford for her arrest. As for the police station, it’s actually Lockwood Studios—a community centre.”
Surrey Police also confirmed to The Sun that they were not involved in the incident.
So far, the law enforcement has to file any official charges against Bonnie or release a statement. What really happened during Bonnie’s alleged arrest also remains undisclosed.
