Dakota Johnson received an unexpected suggestion from her friend Pedro Pascal about starting an OnlyFans account, according to what she shared in an interview with Elle UK.
Both stars are set to appear in the upcoming A24 romantic comedy Materialists, directed by Celine Song.

Dakota Johnson touched on a range of topics with pal and co-star Pedro Pascal, especially during her cover interview with him for Elle UK, where they discussed dating, her hobbies, and her childhood.
But the one thing she says she didn’t expect Pascal to bring up in the past was a question about OnlyFans.
While speaking to Elle UK about dating dilemmas, the topic of OnlyFans came up when she was asked how she would feel about having a partner who checks out other girls on the platform.
“OnlyFans is the place where people go to watch people do weird things. Are OnlyFans models hot? Are they different from regular models?” she said, sharing her thoughts on the adult platform that several Hollywood stars now use to earn extra income.
Then, she recalled the moment Pascal suggested she open an OnlyFans account.
“Pedro Pascal told me I should have an OnlyFans and that I could just like wiggle my toe and make money.” Johnson revealed. “Should I do that? I’m not the right person to ask for advice…”
The actress might not actually be the go-to guru for advice on OnlyFans and Tinder dilemmas, as she also admitted in her interview with Pascal that she’s never used dating apps before.
“I’ve never dated anybody. I’ve had boyfriends, but I have never been on a dating app. I just don’t know that world.”
Johnson even asked, “What does it mean when you swipe right on somebody?”
Finally, she shared what she thinks is the best advice for any dating problem: “Grow up! That’s my answer to everyone for everything. Grow up!”

From the makers of Everything Everywhere All at Once and The Spectacular Romance, A24 will be bringing a new film for romance fans this June.
Created by Oscar nominee Celine Song, Materialists features three of Hollywood’s biggest stars: Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal, and Chris Evans.
The story centers on an ambitious matchmaker named Lucy, played by Johnson, who finds herself torn between everyone’s dream match, Randy (Pascal), and his imperfect ex, John (Evans).
The film is scheduled to hit theaters on June 13, though there are rumors it might be screened at the Cannes Film Festival a month earlier.
Materialists is Song’s second feature, following her critically acclaimed Past Lives, which also told a love triangle story, starring Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, and John Magaro.
