Blood of Zeus Season 1 Recap: What Happened to Hera?
In the finale of Blood of Zeus season 1, Hera was able to disarm the Giants and control their energy using her cauldron. She asks them to kill Zeus for her in exchange for returning their sea.
However, Hera did not expect that Poseidon and Heron would be helping Zeus. Heron then goes to retrieve the cauldron.
Despite Hera's anger, Zeus tries to reason with his wife. Once Heron got the cauldron, the Giants managed to get their control back. One of them takes hold of Hera. Before it can kill her, Zeus saves her.
This reminds the pair of the love they share. They realize that they still love each other despite the power, greed, and adultery they experienced.
What Happened to Heron?
Angry that Heron did not join him, Seraphim turns his attention to him. He asks Heron to join him once more but is ignored. This leads Seraphim to stab Heron.
Instead of being angry, Heron stays calm and allows tears to flow from his eyes.
As he plunges into the spear, Seraphim gets pierced too. Heron finally tells Seraphim that he is against him. After that, his eyes light up with electricity. He then finishes Seraphim.
After finishing Seraphim, Heron grabs the cauldron and absorbs the energy of the Giants. This ends the war and allows Heron to prove himself worthy.
Blood of Zeus will continue with season 2, which will premiere on Netflix on May 9.
