Black Widow Movie Will Foreshadow Natasha's Avengers: Endgame Sacrifice

After Avengers: Endgame, pretty much everyone knew that the Black Widow movie would be a prequel. How do you make a movie about someone who just died? Aside from bringing them back to life, though it looks like that won't be happening. Despite the fact that the movie will be set after Captain America: Civil War, it looks like the solo film will be expanding on Widow's choice to sacrifice herself in Endgame; assuming David Harbour is right of course.

David Harbour, who plays Hop in Stranger Things and will be the Red Guardian in Black Widow, revealed this little tidbit during the big Hall H panel in SDCC (via ComicBook.com). He loves how we get to see more of Widow's story post-Civil War and how that will eventually lead to her heart-breaking sacrifice. It's always intriguing knowing the end of someone's story and seeing it fleshed out a bit after the character has passed.

We'll finally get to see more of Natasha's story in the solo Black Widow movie, which is currently scheduled for a May 1, 2020, release.
