Earlier this year, Marvel revealed that it was working on a series of new streaming shows for Disney's upcoming streaming site, Disney+. These different series would feature characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe that never got a chance to grab the spotlight in their own films like fan-favorite Asgardian God of Mischief, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Vision (Paul Bettany), Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Bucky (Sebastian Stan).
Now, the writers of Avengers: Endgame confirm that all these shows aren't just going to be directly tied to the films in the MCU – they'll deal with the aftermath of the film.
Fandango just recently got a chance to speak with Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. During their interview with the screenwriters, the publication got talking about Marvel's upcoming Disney+ series, and the two revealed the different streaming project's connection to the recently released Marvel movie.
"All I know is that I believe that they take the events of this movie into full consideration. They're not on a side continuum," Markus revealed.
The publication also asked whether these Disney+ shows would exist in a world where Endgame has taken place, and Markus answer was "I believe so yes."
Guess we're going to see more of the effects of Endgame in Disney+.
Avengers: Endgame is currently screening in cinemas.
