Marvel Studios sent the entire Marvel fan community abuzz during the 2019 D23 Expo this weekend, announcing additional series to its line-up of shows being developed for Disney's upcoming streaming site, Disney+. Not only is the studio preparing a brand new series for comic book fan-favorite hero Kamala Khan, but it's also planning new shows for Moon Knight and for She-Hulk too.
Taking to Twitter, Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo responded to the news about a new She-Hulk series, welcoming his female counterpart into the Marvel family.

It's definitely going to be interesting seeing She-Hulk make her way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There's the question of whether she'll share a connection with Bruce Banner in the series, and whether the Hulk will make an appearance as well.
For the uninitiated, She-Hulk, otherwise known as Jennifer Walters, is actually Bruce Banner's cousin. Unlike Hulk who transforms from the original Bruce Banner, She-Hulk remains in the same Hulk form with the same consciousness and intelligence as Jennifer. In the comics, Jennifer is transformed into the gamma-powered hero by her cousin. She becomes a major force in the Marvel comic universe with her epic strength, her wit, and her intelligence.
We're hoping that Marvel gives She-Hulk the same kind of origin in the upcoming Disney series, though it's likely that the studio might add a few tweaks here and there. Details about the She-Hulk series remains under wraps. We'll just have to wait and see what Marvel has to offer.
The She-Hulk series has yet to receive a release date. We'll update everyone as soon as we get word.
