Avengers: Endgame Fan Theory Says Tony Stark Will Die 14 Million Deaths

Knowing how high the stakes have been raised, Marvel fans have been expecting heroes like Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America (Chris Evans) to end up sacrificing their lives to bring back the victims of Thanos' Decimation in Avengers: Endgame. Now, a new fan theory takes the potential death of Iron Man even further, saying that Stark might end up dying more than once in the upcoming sequel to Avengers: Infinity War.

One of the most recent fan theories to circulate on Reddit has a wild proposition – what if instead of sacrificing his life just once in Endgame, Tony Stark dies more than fourteen million times in the upcoming film?

Though it might sound a bit preposterous, this fan theory takes its basis on Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). According to the theory, before his death during The Snappening, the Sorcerer Supreme puts Stark into a time loop that allows him to witness all of the 14 million possible outcomes in the Avengers' battle against Thanos. Like what Stephen did to Dormammu in Doctor Strange, this time loop gives Iron Man time to train and perfect his craft in the middle of space.

Of course, as interesting as it sounds, there isn't really any solid evidence backing up this wild fan theory. It's very unlikely that Dr. Strange was able to put Iron Man in a time loop in Infinity War, especially after the Sorcerer Supreme ended up giving the Time Stone to Thanos.
