Sarah Jessica Parker recently teased her potential future return as Carrie Bradshaw despite the end of And Just Like That last summer.
The divisive Sex and the City sequel series aired its last episode last August, marking the end of the franchise and journey for the beloved characters. However, fans are still wondering whether there might be a chance to revisit the Sex and the City world someday in another spinoff or sequel. As it turns out, the possibility remains.
Is Sarah Jessica Parker Returning as Carrie Bradshaw in Another Sex and the City Project?

In an interview on CBS Mornings, Parker reflected on the decision to end And Just Like That after three seasons and why it was the perfect time to wrap up the story.
"I think it’s out of respect for this really singular professional experience that you have to consider what you want to do, have you done it," she said.
"And sometimes it’s best to gracefully walk away when things feel really right and energetic, versus squeezing and exploiting people’s generosity and hospitality."
However, Parker also teased that her character might only be on "hiatus" and could return someday.
"I’m not certain I understand what that decision means, because I could just be on hiatus," she said.
While there are no plans yet to do another Sex and the City series, the recent comments emphasized that Carrie Bradshaw's journey might not be over, and it looks like Parker is open to the idea of reprising the role again someday.
Why And Just Like That Ended After Three Seasons
The exact reasons why And Just Like That ended after three seasons are still unclear at this point, but showrunner Michael Patrick King confirmed that the series finale was the true conclusion, and he felt that Carrie's journey was over at that point.
"It is closed. Because I care so much about what we’ve done. And I got emotional not because of letting go of Carrie, but because of the people that care about Carrie. I just realized 'care' is in 'Carrie.' People care so much about her that I feel for them," he said.
"That she’s this hero in her late 50s, wearing a Hindenburg hat and eating sherbet in Washington Square Park. She’s made her mark, and, as a writer, I feel we’ve made our mark. I never thought once about continuing. Telling it like it is: It’s an instinct. Anyone else could keep going. I can’t."
