Alita: Battle Angel Creator Claims Adaptation is "The Greatest Movie in The World"

There's a huge divide between critics of Alita: Battle Angel and the fans who love the live-action adaptation of the cyberpunk manga and anime. Creator Yukito Kishiro agrees with the fans, and after seeing the film five times already, he calls it the "greatest movie in the world."

Kishiro, the original author of the Japanese Gunnm, on which Robert Rodriguez's live-action adaptation is based, attended the special screening in Japan, and according to various reports from Japanese media (via Crunchyroll), he's happy about the adaptation. "Thanks to the great staff, it has become the greatest movie in the world," Kishiro said. "Every time I see, I can find something new. The composition is amazing. All scenes are special and there are no unneeded ones. It is so exciting that I can't believe that I created the original story."

I have to agree with the Alita creator. The film was amazing, and I think critics who gave it a negative review just don't get quality cyberpunk science fiction. I would see this again in theaters and I'm definitely getting a digital copy of it when it comes out.
