Remember the whole Agent X is debuting in Deadpool and Wolverine rumor? As it turns out, the producers behind the threequel had been fooling MCU fans all along, and the streamer's hero debut is not the fake cameo that takes the cake.

Marvel has always been sensitive when it comes to disclosing spoilers and future releases of the franchise, and Deadpool 3 may have just confirmed the lengths they're willing to go to in keeping everything a secret, especially the cameos.
Deadpool 3 Exec Producer Fesses Up For Planting Fakes
Since the Deadpool threequel is about jumping through the Multiverse to fix the Merc with the Mouth's timeline, fans need to find out which classic characters are returning to join them on their adventure.
However, to prevent that from happening, executive producer Wendy Jacobson (She-Hulk: Attorney At Law) recently revealed that "there may or may not have been some subterfuge and misdirections on the internet" to protect their secrecy.
Despite the misleading leaks on which cameos fans should expect in Deadpool and Wolverine, Jacobson adds, "It was always important to us that nothing in this movie feels like a gimmick" calling their collaboration a "process of seeing who fit in and who didn't."
On that note, here are a couple of those fake cameo news that fans should keep an eye out for when they enter theatres:
Kai Cenat Will Debut As Agent X in Deadpool 3 (FAKE)
Anything is possible in the Marvel Multiverse, and that includes leaving online American streamers into the MCU to make their debut as one of the Marvel Comic heroes on the big screens.
However, in this case, this one had been fake: Twitch and YouTube streamer Kai Cenat was reportedly debuting as Agent X in Deadpool and Wolverine.
Agent X is an assassin and a mercenary who blames Deadpool for his brother's death. He essentially wanted revenge despite merely being fooled by the "brain hacker" Black Swan into thinking that.
Regardless of whether the streamer was in line for the role or not, Agent X's appearance would have complicated things for the threequel, given that Paradox and Cassandra Nova were already out to hunt the titular mutants down.
Kang the Conqueror Reportedly Getting Replaced in the Threequel
Jonathan Majors' exit from the MCU made matters worse for the long-running franchise. Considering that his legal issues kicked him out of his major role, the supposed overarching villain of the Multiverse Saga has lost his place.
His previous appearances had been in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as Kang the Conqueror and in Loki season 2 to depict the role of the Kang Prime aka Victor Timely.
This naturally called for reports to come swooping in for potential replacements for the actor.
Enter Keenan Clarke, who was apparently about to shock fans into becoming the new Kang the Conqueror figure in the MCU.
However, this fake leak had only been debunked by several reports, given that Clarke appears to have no acting credits and the report had not been officially confirmed in the first place.
(And no Kang or any of his variants made their appearances in the threequel).
Keep in mind that having two big bads in one film (Kang and Cassandra) wouldn't have spelled success for Deadpool and Wolverine.
Ryan Reynolds Clarified Rumored Taylor Swift Cameo
And of course, who could forget: the potential actress moving behind the mask and the tight red suit of Lady Deadpool?
Fans have long speculated that the role comes from a mixed bag between pop singer Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds' wife, Blake Lively, for reasons that Reynolds is close friends with Swift and the big whoop on finally starring in another comic book movie with his wife.
It was only a matter of time before Reynolds declared Taylor was "not in this film" despite being their friend, joking that while she was one of the "funniest people" he ever met, she would cost him a fortune.
