One of the biggest mysteries the MCU has yet to unravel is the existence of Mephisto. After years filled with questions and speculation, luckily, WandaVision fans finally got their wish as Agatha All Along officially brought him into the franchise. Well, sort of.

Agatha All Along Officially Namedrops Mephisto Into the MCU
As Agatha All Along introduces the newly gathered witches' coven for the titular harbinger of darkness, the WandaVision spinoff also finally includes the long-awaited supervillain from Marvel Comics: Mephisto, aka the all-powerful demon who rules over Hell, including every witches' coven there is.
Agatha All Along episode 3 titled Through Many Miles / Of Tricks and Trials shows the beginning of the newly-built witches' coven and what they have to face before reaching the end of the Witch's Road.
In this case, it's a matter of teamwork and trusting each other. But how can that happen when they can't even decipher Teen's (played by Joe Locke) true identity?
When Jen (Sasheer Zamata) and the rest of Agatha's coven begin questioning what purpose Teen serves for being in the group, the mystical sigil appears once more on his seemingly sealed lips.
This brought them to a similar question fans have been wondering since the trailers dropped: is Teen an agent of Mephisto?
Even though nothing has been confirmed yet, here's what Agatha All Along showrunner Jac Schaeffer commented that appears to tease what fans saw coming in the spinoff:
"With these shows, so often there is something that is at once a joke and a wink and a nod, and actually has something legitimate underneath it," Schaeffer cryptically teased, adding that Mephisto's character is "very wrapped" into Agatha Harkness' storyline.
While MCU fans are fully convinced that Teen is essentially one of Wanda Maximoff's long-lost twin sons, Billy Kaplan / Wiccan, the third episode of the Agatha spinoff suggests that the witches have a different theory.
According to what episode 3 beholds, the witches think Teen may be Agatha's long-lost son that she exchanged for the Darkhold and that he is secretly working with Mephisto behind the scenes.
