One of the best things that happened during DC FanDome is undoubtedly the highly anticipated reveal of Zack Snyder's Justice League trailer. The teaser, which featured some never-before-seen footage, revealed a completely different film. In addition to that, the teaser even had an unexpected Joker Easter Egg.
One of the most memorable moments in the Snyder Cut trailer is the shot revealing that Darkseid has successfully consumed Earth and parademons have taken over. It's a brief sequence but you can clearly see something flying through the air and stops in front of the screen before disappearing. Check it out below.
That's right, it's a Joker card. Although we don't know where it came from, it's clearly a subtle nod to the DC comic book villain who wanted anarchy in the world. Interestingly, the Snyder Cut might confirm that a different supervillain has achieved the Clown Prince of Crime's goal.
There are several awesome scenes in the Snyder Cut trailer like Silas Stone's heartbreaking sacrifice in front of his son as well as Bruce Wayne convincing the rest of the Justice League to fight against Darkseid together. Needless to say, this is a new film to look forward to next year.
Snyder has already confirmed that the Snyder Cut will be released in four parts which are one hour long each. In addition to that, he is working on a way to make the movie available to fans who do not have HBO Max. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
