What to Expect in Young Frankenstein TV Series

So far, the plot details regarding Very Young Frankenstein are still under wraps, but it is expected to be inspired by the comedy classic.

In case you have not seen the 1974 film, it focused on the American grandson of the infamous scientist, Dr. Victor Frankenstein, struggling to prove that his grandfather was not as insane as people believe. He was invited to Transylvania, where he discovered the process that reanimates a dead body.

Taika Waititi is involved as one of the executive producers and is also set to direct the pilot. Stefani Robinson, who also worked on What We Do in the Shadows, serves as writer and likely showrunner if the project gets a series order.
