Avengers: Endgame is, unsurprisingly, one of the most popular films out right now since it's the bookend to many of the MCU's storylines. However, it being a Marvel movie, has plenty of quotable lines with many people on social media using them for memes and their reactions to the movie. The most quoted line has to be "I love you 3000," from Iron Man's daughter with Pepper Potts, which is the line fans use to describe their love for the movie.
So, who came up with the line? Well, according to co-director Anthony Russo it was technically Robert Downey Jr's children. Crazy eh?
During an interview with Watching Hollywood, Russo revealed that Robert Downey Jr suggested the line for the child actor he was acting with. Apparently, this is a line that Downey's children used before the movie and that's adorable. So adorable in fact that seeing it in social media is a little annoying.
There's no doubt that fans love this movie 3000 since it manages to be an excellent film that wraps up a ton of MCU stories. Some fans have even considered not watching any more MCU films since this is such a good finale but Spider-Man: Far From Home has convinced them to stay for one more round.
Avengers: Endgame is now showing in theaters. Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 2.
