Yoda Voice Actor Confirms Recording New Lines For Star Wars: The Clone Wars

The final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars has officially started production. Tom Kane, who provides the voice of Yoda in the animated series, has just confirmed that he has already recorded dialogue for the new episodes.

Fans were elated when Dave Filoni announced at the recent San Diego Comic-Con that the seventh season of The Clone Wars will be produced. Evidently, the cast and crew did not wait too long to begin production because Kane has reportedly admitted that he has started work on the final season (via MakingStarWars).

It's certainly exciting to know that Yoda will be back in action next year. However, it is also important to point out that Kane is also the voice of the Narrator and other additional voices so it is possible that his work includes other characters. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to how things will work out in the show's final season.

The cast of The Clone Wars recently reunited to celebrate the animated show's 10th anniversary. The voice actors shared some interesting behind-the-scenes details like Ashley Eckstein being told by Filoni to leave her "cuteness" outside the recording room. Dee Bradley Baker also revealed that his most memorable role in the series was the Geonosian Queen Karina the Great.

The seventh season is expected to provide a fitting conclusion to The Clone Wars. Hopefully, this means the series could show us exactly how the Battle of Geonosis ended.

The Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 release date has not yet been announced. The new season is set to premiere on the Disney streaming service in early 2019.
