X-Men: Dark Phoenix has received a mixed reception thus far and the movie hasn't even come out yet. This is due to the lackluster trailers we've seen, plus some of the behind-the-scenes reports people have heard are making people doubt this film's quality. As if that wasn't enough to turn people away, fans will be sad to know that it won't have a Stan Lee cameo.
However, much like Captain Marvel, it will have a tribute to the legendary Marvel creator.
During an interview with CinemaBlend, director Simon Kinberg revealed that Stan was still alive while the movie was filming but they felt that there wouldn't be a place for a cameo. Kinberg then revealed that there would be a tribute for the legendary creator, which is pretty appropriate since he and Jack Kirby created some of the biggest X-Men characters like Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Magneto.
This will be the final X-Men film under Fox, especially now that Disney has bought the studio. X-Men: Dark Phoenix comes out this June.
