Fans might be going crazy over Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel, but there is still some hype for 2020's Wonder Woman 1984. The first movie was a landmark superhero film in many ways, even if it's overall quality was pretty standard, so let's hope that the sequel improves on the first film's faults.
One actor fans have been curious about has been Narcos star Pedro Pascal, who has a mysterious role in the movie. Now that Aries is out of the picture, it's hard to guess who his character could be and it would be a letdown if he was just some new character. Then again, Patty Jenkins could find a way to make his character engaging but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
So, during an episode of Wired's series where celebrities answer their most Googled questions, Pascal and Triple Frontier co-star Oscar Isaac were soon stuck with a question regarding his Wonder Woman 1984 character. Pascal fell off his chair and claimed that Warner Bros put a chip in his brain when it came to his character, which wasn't funny but showed that this question was off limits.
As the title suggests, Wonder Woman 1984 is set in that timeline during the Cold War. Diana, still played by Gal Gagot, will have to deal with the threat of Cheetah and the sudden return of Steve Trevor, who seemingly died in the first film.
Wonder Woman 1984 comes out on June 5, 2020.
