A woman in Orlando, Florida has confessed to stabbing her younger sister in the heart multiple times after finding out that her sister flirter with her boyfriend on the popular first-person shooter PC game, VALORANT, according to the police, as The Daily Mail and The Orlando Sentinel reported.
21-year-old Fatiha Marzan reportedly stabbed her 20-year-old sister, Sayma Marzan multiple times in the heart on Sept. 26 in the early hours of the morning, but called police 15 hours later (7:30 pm) to report her crime. 20 minutes after Orange County fire rescue medics arrived, Sayma Marzan was pronounced dead.
According to the Orlando Sentinel's report, Sayma played VALORANT with her sister's boyfriend, and often messaged him through the game's chat. Fatiha Marzan was reportedly in a long-distance relationship with her boyfriend. Tensions escalated high when Fatiha's boyfriend supposedly admitted he loved Sayma.
Fatiha reportedly purchased a 'dagger-style' knife set of Amazon, and according to the affidavit, she hid the knives in the closet and waited until the Marzan family fell asleep before stabbing her sister in the bedroom they shared on Southern Charm Drive in Orlando.
She reportedly killed her sister during the early hours of the morning to ensure their parents didn't hear her during the stabbings. Sayma reportedly woke up during the stabbing and pleaded for her life. Fatiha said that her sister "was moving too much".
Hours after stabbing Sayma, Fatiha said she began contemplating taking her own life, but was talked out of it by another sibling.
