How Many Episodes Does Monsters 103 Have?
As of writing, the anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s Monsters 100 manga, Monsters 103: Mercies Dragon Damnation, only has one episode with a runtime of 25 minutes.
It is now available in English sub and dub, in addition to French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, and Thai dubs.
How Much of the Monsters Manga Did the Anime Cover?
The Monsters 103: Mercies Dragon Damnation covered the entire Monsters one-shot manga from start to finish.
This means that the legendary story behind the stolen dragon’s horn was told, as well as the tragedy that hit Flair’s hometown.
The anime also introduced the characters, especially Ryuma, who was known to some as the legendary samurai or the king.
The backstory of Flair, the waitress at Gerard restaurant, was also explored, as was her connection with the so-called Master Swordsman, Shirano.
Moreover, the owner of Gerard restaurant has also been present in the story. The same goes for D.R., who was working with Shirano behind the scenes.
The anime adaptation also showed the fake and old dragon horns, which D.R. keeps on his sleeve.
Overall, Monsters 103: Mercies Dragon Damnation stayed faithful to Eiichiro Oda’s one-shot manga series, so fans need not worry about scenes that were not adapted from the anime.
An anime-only scene was added before the end of the episode, which is a bonus for fans.
There’s always the option to read the one-shot manga series to further immerse yourself in the lore of Monsters.
Will There Be More Episodes of Monsters 103? Our Predictions
Unfortunately, there’s a slim chance that Monsters 103 will have more episodes in the future, given how it already covered the source material from start to finish.
Still, we can’t eliminate the possibility that someone will try to turn the Monsters 103 anime adaptation into a full series in the future if Eiichiro Oda allows it to happen, or if he takes an active role in the creation process.
For now, enjoy watching Monsters 103: Mercies Dragon Damnation on Netflix.
