In an isekai anime where the protagonist looks for ways to die rather than survive, will Sensei truly die in No Longer Allowed in Another World?
Sensei was supposed to die with his lover, but fate intervenes, postponing what could be the happiest moment in his life!
Spoiler Warning: This article includes spoilers for the No Longer Allowed in Another World manga series, so proceed with caution.
Why Does Sensei Want to Die in No Longer Allowed in Another World?
Sensei is the main protagonist of No Longer Allowed in Another World, but he’s unlike any other due to his willingness to die rather than survive.
He was supposed to drown in the man-eating river with his lover Sacchan, but the Otherworld Truck-kun appeared before them because they lead unhappy lives in the real world.
Later, Sensei finds himself in front of Annette in the fantasy world of Zauberberg, where he is asked to become a hero, despite his poor stats.
However, Sensei only desires to find a place where he can die peacefully because he believes that he doesn’t have the qualifications to survive in the world, be it in the real or the isekai world.
Ultimately, Sensei thinks he will always be branded as an unqualified human, wherever he goes.
Will Sensei Die in No Longer Allowed in Another World? Current Status Explained
As of chapter 68, Sensei is still alive in the No Longer Allowed in Another World manga series, and there are no signs that he will die anytime soon, despite his initial willingness to die by suicide with Sacchan.
However, Sensei has had some close encounters with death throughout the series.
From risking his life for his friends against the fallen angels to almost dying with Sacchan after His Holiness used Rewrite, Sensei nearly loses his life multiple times.
Thanks to Sensei’s friends, such as Annette, Tama, Otto, and others, he has found something in the world far more wonderful than death, and that is to continue his career as a writer.
Even Sacchan noticed how Sensei has changed a great deal, as evidenced by his eyes, which now burn with passion for life, much unlike the past Sensei.
Of course, Sensei losing his life would possibly mean that the end is near for the manga, but so far, Sensei is still alive and well, along with his friends, though they have lost some allies along the way.
Besides, Sensei has found an important reason to continue living in the isekai world, and that is his friends and the stories he needs to write and complete.
