Why Is Yuta Okkotsu Trying to Kill Yuji Itadori?
The Shibuya Incident arc was an intense event wherein Nanami, who was classified as a first-grade sorcerer, died.
Even Nobara was intensely injured and Toge lost one of his arms. Knowing all of these, Yuta decided to step in and be Yujiās executioner as a punishment for Sukunaās rampage in Shibuya.
Yuta arrived on the scene, and the two young sorcerers faced off. Yuta, with his improved skills and abilities, was able to ākillā Yuji and finish his mission.
Does Yuta Okkotsu Kill Yuji Itadori?
What manga readers did not expect is that Yuji is not dead at all. Instead, Yuta reveals that everything was an act as Gojo tasked him to look after Yuji.
The higher-ups wonāt let Yuta save Yuji, so he pretends to want Yuji dead instead. The only way the higher-ups would agree to that is if Yuta agreed to enter into a Binding Vow with them.
Yuta used a reverse cursed technique to make it seem like Yujiās heart stopped, accomplishing his vow with the higher-ups. This makes Yujiās death sentence complete.
Therefore, Yuta didn't kill Yuji, nor did he intend to hurt him in any way at all.
The two then talked more about how they are similar, especially in terms of having a massive power that they couldnāt handle.
This made the two a lot closer than before to the point that Yuji confessed that he had eaten 15 of Sukunaās fingers and that the King of Curses had something planned for Megumi.
