What is Sakamoto Days About?
Sakamoto Days tells the story of the ultimate assassin, Taro Sakamoto, who is feared by villains and admired by other hitmen. One day, he falls in love and out of shape, preoccupied with marriage, retirement, and fatherhood.
Despite that, he’s still armed with superhuman skill and strength, and during extreme situations, he loses his extra weight and gains twice the power he had before.
When his past catches up, Sakamoto must embrace his previous life again and work with his comrades to protect his family from the looming bands of assassins.
Part 1 of Sakamoto Days season 1 is slated to premiere on Netflix this January 11 with one new episode released weekly. Part 2 is set to debut in July later this year.
