Fans Are Seeking Justice Against Vhagar's Killings
House of the Dragon season 2 episode 4 titled The Red Dragon and the Gold sends fans over the edge as they witness another downfall from the Blacks: Rhaenys Targaryen has fallen to her death along with Meleys.
Every fan had had their own criticism over the episode, but what really gets their goat is the fact that Vhagar, a dragon the size of a castle, was able to sneak up behind Rhaenys' back and did the oldest trick in the book to win in battle.
Now, because of this, fans are hoping to see how Vhagar pays for her crimes.
Rhaenys' death does not only mean the Blacks have lost a great frontliner and dragon but makes it all the more heartbreaking that Vhagar used to be the dragon of Rhaenys' daughter, Laena Valeryon.
With fans hoping to see that the show gets payback for losing Rhaenys and Meleys, here's how Vhagar the dragon dies in George R.R. Martin's books.

How Did Vhagar the Dragon Die in Dance of the Dragons?
Vhagar was one of the oldest dragons to have grown almost as large as Balerion, making him the largest dragon in Westeros.
It would be difficult to defeat her due to her battle experience and how her fire breath could instantly cook any knight inside their armor. However, fret not, she does end up meeting her doom one way or another.
The biggest mistake Aemond makes is facing his uncle, Prince Daemon Targaryen, and his dragon Caraxes in Harrenhal.
As Daemon is seeking to avenge the death of his stepson, Lucerys, Aemond hopes to defeat his family with his own dragon, Vhagar.
The battle occurred at the shores of God's Eye. During the fight, Daemon leaped from Caraxes' back and stabbed Aemond in the eye. Both Caraxes and Vhagar end up crashing mid-air and falling into the lake.
Vhagar drowned and died at the age of 181 years old while Caraxes suffered from fatal injuries from Vhagar and Aemond's attacks.
It remains to be seen if House of the Dragon will be treating the dragons quite differently, but a similar plotline would likely fit right into the story soon, as fans expect Daemon and Aemond to come up against each other someday.
