A new contender for the next James Bond has emerged as reports revealed that Scott Rose-Marsh has been tested for the role.
Fans have been looking forward to finding out which actor Amazon MGM Studios will hire to play the next James Bond as they reboot the franchise for a new generation. Several names have been rumored to be in play, but no confirmation has been made. Now, another contender has surfaced, and it's not a name that most people are familiar with.
Who Is the Latest James Bond Contender, Scott Rose-Marsh?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 37-year-old actor Scott Rose-Marsh has screen-tested to potentially play the next James Bond.
He is known for starring in films such as Code of Silence and Wolves of War. He had a minor role in three episodes of the TV series The Outlaws.
The report claimed that the screen test was conducted last June. Rose-Marsh was asked to read sides from GoldenEye and potentially read pages from Steven Knight, who is penning the screenplay for Bond 26.
The actor was given a direction during the screen test not to impersonate any of the previous versions of James Bond.
What made this tidbit significant is that Rose-Marsh is a redheaded actor and, if he ends up getting cast in the role, he will be the first "ginger Bond."
So far, neither Rose-Marsh nor Amazon MGM Studios has commented on the actor's alleged Bond screen-test.
What Fans Should Expect from Bond 26
Earlier this year, Amazon MGM Studios officially took over the creative control of the James Bond franchise from Eon Productions.
Amy Pascal and David Heyman have been hired to serve as producers of the next 007 movie, while Denis Villeneuve has been tapped to direct the installment and also serve as an executive producer.
Since Villeneuve is still busy with Dune: Part Three, it might take a while before fans hear more news and updates regarding the progress of James Bond's highly anticipated return.
