Young actress Nell Fisher joined the cast of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things to take over the role of Holly Wheeler. Now that the first volume is out, fans are curious to learn more about Fisher after seeing her performance.
For the hit Netflix show's final chapter, Holly Wheeler has a larger role in the story compared to the previous seasons, as they will explore her mysterious encounters with the Upside Down and an "imaginary friend" that she keeps seeing around. The character was previously played by twin sisters Anniston and Tinsley Price. Fisher took over the role to play the grown-up version.

Before joining the cast of Stranger Things, she starred in films such as Evil Dead Rise and Bookworm, and appeared in two episodes of My Life is Murder. She is rumored to be part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! live-action version.
In a recent interview with Deadline, co-showrunner Ross Duffer explained why they decided to give Holly Wheeler a larger role in the final season.
"As we just broke Season 5, we realized that Holly playing a larger role, that’s really when the season started to take shape. What we really wanted to do, and what that scene with her and Mike is talking about is, obviously our cast is older now, but we wanted to bring back the show full circle to Season 1," he said.
"And to really do that, we needed kids in there again, so it felt like the best way to do that was through Holly."

According to the logline for the final season of Stranger Things, set in the fall of 1987, "Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. Volume One, which consists of the first four episodes, was recently released on November 26. Volume Two (three episodes) will be released on Christmas Day, December 25, while Volume Three (the final episode) will arrive on New Year's Eve, December 31.
