Graynor is now one of the stars of Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, which has become one of the biggest hits on Netflix in the past few weeks.

She plays Leslie Abramson, a criminal defense lawyer in Los Angeles who took Erik Menendez as her client. She is known to have an aggressive personality in the courtroom.

"I knew that she had made it pretty clear that she never wanted to speak about any of her cases. You’ll notice that in all of the documentaries or programs that have been made, she’s never interviewed," the actress described her character in an interview.

"She really took a step back, I think. Not only because this case in particular was so painful for her, but she also did not mince words about the media and its effects on things."

Graynor also admitted that she tried to reach out to Abramson while preparing for the role.

"I feel so deeply connected to her, and feel like I’ve fallen in love with her from afar. So much of this journey for me was wanting to do her justice. So now I’ve been trying to get an email to her," she said.

"I’ve been trying to find people that might be able to pass it on to her, just to acknowledge her and to tell her what I saw in her and if she ever wants to talk."

Based on her IMDb page, there is no next project slated yet for Graynor. However, with her acclaimed performance in this global hit, there is no doubt that we will see more of her in the future.
