Wednesday Addams’ premonition has changed for the worse, but not in the way she would’ve liked.
From recklessly searching for ways to save her friend, Enid, from an untimely death comes a new name on the headstone: one of the Addams family members should die. So, which Addams dies in Wednesday season 2?
WARNING: This article contains MAJOR SPOILERS for Wednesday season 2, so proceed with caution.
How Did Wednesday’s Premonition Change From Enid’s Tragic Fate?

One of the first ways Wednesday Addams discovered she had powers was when she ‘dreamt’ of her best friend/roommate Enid Sinclair, dying. As it turned out, that dream was no dream, but rather her ability to predict darker and more intense psychic visions. Enid happened to be her first.
That’s why throughout season 2, Wednesday’s investigations would somehow lead Enid to dangerous territories that almost always left her to deadly trails. Thankfully, by the sixth episode called Woe Thyself, the mystery had been lifted.
Enid is no longer in danger of dying, but only because Wednesday’s actions caused her premonition to change. Instead of finding Enid’s name on the headstone, it’s now marked ‘Addams’, which, as former Principal Larissa Weems said, “But which one?”
So, Which Addams Family Member Really Died in Wednesday Season 2?
Considering how the seventh episode titled Woe Me the Money unfolded, the money would have been on Pugsley being the ‘fated’ Addams family member to die in season 2.
Not only had he been the one to bring Isaac Night from the dead, but he was the youngest and most naive of the bunch. Isaac used Pugsley as bait by kidnapping him to lure the Addams family and retrieve his hand, aka ‘Thing’, back to its original owner.

Isaac purposely lured the Addams family to the tower where his newest invention stood so he could use the device to remove the Hyde monsters from Tyler and Francoise using Pugsley’s powers. But there’s a catch (as there always is with these things)---Pugsley would die.
Here’s where Isaac’s plan went wrong. First of all, Tyler never wanted to get rid of his Hyde, given that it’s become a part of his identity, and secondly, trusting that Thing would want to become Isaac’s ‘knight’ by being reattached to his Frankenstein-ish form.
In the end, Thing betrayed Isaac by strangling him to death, overall saving the Addams family from Wednesday’s initial premonition. But don’t let that ruin the fun. There’s more to see with Wednesday season 3 underway, as it gained a greenlight for its third renewal. Stay tuned.
