Netflix’s The Witcher has become one of the most talked-about fantasy series of the decade since its debut in 2019.
Henry Cavill’s magnetic performance as Geralt of Rivia from Seasons 1 to 3, now replaced by Liam Hemsworth in Season 4 and the upcoming Season 5, has allowed fans to love the show for perfectly combining dark fantasy with compelling character arcs and intricate storytelling.
So, whether you’re a fan who wants to rewatch the series before it comes to an end or a newcomer who wants to discover the Continent, here’s where you can watch The Witcher Seasons 1 to 4 and how you can use a VPN, such as ExpressVPN or VeePN, if it’s not available in your country.
Where to Watch The Witcher
Based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s critically acclaimed book series and the popular CD Projekt game adaptation, The Witcher follows monster hunter Geralt of Rivia as he navigates a morally complex world full of magic, political intrigue, and fantastical creatures.
It is set on a fictional, medieval-inspired landmass called the Continent and also explores the legends of Yennefer of Vengerberg and Princess Ciri.
Here’s where you can watch The Witcher Seasons 1 to 4:
- Stream: Netflix
The Witcher is exclusively available on Netflix, making it the official streaming home for all seasons and episodes. This also means it’s not offered for digital purchase or rental on other platforms, as all official access is through Netflix only.
How to Use a VPN to Watch The Witcher
If you’re in a region where Netflix is not available or if its library doesn’t include The Witcher, don’t worry, you can still watch the show by using a VPN.
A VPN allows you to change your virtual location to access the series from regions where it’s available, making it appear as though you’re in that area. This lets you bypass restrictions and watch it from anywhere in the world.
For the ultimate streaming experience, we highly recommend ExpressVPN or VeePN.
ExpressVPN gives you lightning-fast access with over 3,000 servers in 105 countries, so you can watch every episode seamlessly. VeePN offers reliable performance with more than 2,600 servers and plans starting at just $1.99 per month, making it easy and affordable to enjoy the Continent from anywhere in the world.

Considering using a VPN? Here’s a quick guide to help you get started.
Step 1: Sign Up
- Get a VPN subscription and download the app on your preferred device.
Step 2: Connect
- Open the app and connect to a server located in a region where you can watch The Witcher.
Step 3: Stream
- Go to your preferred streaming platform, log in, and start streaming four seasons of The Witcher.
Other VPN Options to Consider
Thinking about a different VPN? Here are some top alternatives that work just like ExpressVPN and VeePN and offer similar safe and smooth streaming experiences:
- NordVPN: Offers strong security and provides excellent server speeds.
- Surfshark: Unlimited device connections at an affordable price.
- CyberGhost: Known for its fast speed and reliable server networks across countries.
- Private Internet Access: Known for strong privacy features and an affordable, feature-rich VPN service
VPNs don’t just help you stream; they also protect your online privacy. By masking your IP address and encrypting your internet traffic, you make it much harder for anyone to monitor your online activity. So, for maximum protection, keep your VPN active whenever you browse the internet or stream your favorite shows.
Will There Be The Witcher Season 5?

Netflix released all eight episodes of The Witcher Season 4 on October 30, with Liam Hemsworth taking over the role of Geralt of Rivia from Henry Cavill.
However, unlike the previous seasons, the latest installment received mixed reviews and did not quite match the success of its predecessor. But despite lingering doubts about the future of the series, The Witcher will return for its fifth and final season, which has already completed production.
Seasons 4 and 5 were filmed back-to-back, with the final season expected to premiere in fall 2026.
- “We’re thrilled to bring the books to a satisfying conclusion,” showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich teased. “It wouldn’t be The Witcher if we didn’t push every character to their limits.”
