What’s Next for Frank Castle after The Punisher: One Last Kill?

While The Punisher: One Last Kill is being described as a major “closing chapter” for Frank Castle’s current arc in the MCU, it does not necessarily mean it is the end of the character. Marvel has remained vague about Frank’s future in the MCU, which may indicate that it is keeping its options open for future appearances.
As part of the street-level storytelling in the MCU, Frank has strong ties to Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again (initially introduced in Daredevil Season 2). While he is a no-show in Season 2 of the Born Again reboot, Frank may return in the now-confirmed third season, potentially as a supporting character or as either an ally or an enemy.
Despite all of this, Jon Bernthal's Punisher appears in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and the character's role may not be the one you expect if you're only familiar with The Punisher from the bulk of his Daredevil outings. Without giving away too many spoilers, Frank Castle actually has a close, personal relationship with Peter Parker in the film, though whether that relationship is good or bad is something you'll have to find out yourself by watching the movie.
So, Frank Castle isn't done in the MCU after One Last Kill, it seems. However, what comes next after Brand New Day isn't clear just yet. We'll make sure we update this article should this change in the future.
