Are There Plans to Reboot Lost?
So far, Disney (the owner of ABC Studios, which produced the series) has no plans to reboot Lost despite its continuing popularity 15 years after the final episode aired.
Earlier this year, co-executive producer Drew Goddard discussed the idea of potentially rebooting Lost. While there is no plan at the moment, he is interested in exploring if they can do "something special" in the construction of the story.
- "I’d only be interested if we felt like we could do something special and new within the construct of the show. And then some of it just comes down to time and appetite. So there’s no plan for it today. But never say never," he said.
