Fans may be wondering where to start reading the KonoSuba light novel and manga after the anime. The third season has officially ended, but fans are still on a KonoSuba high due to the chaotic but emotional finale of the anime.
How Much of KonoSuba Did Season 3 Cover?
KonoSuba season 3 covered light novel volumes 6 and 7, while it covered four manga volumes from volumes 10 to 13.
The third season had plenty of action and comedy thanks to Kazuma and his eccentric adventuring squad, which includes a useless deity, a once-a-day explosion magic user, and a strange but beautiful crusader.
The third season began with Kazuma being invited to Princess Iris' castle, where he spent time relaxing alone, away from Aqua and the others.
He relished the role of big brother to Iris until Aqua and the others arrived to take him back, ruining his newfound utopia.
It was trouble from here on, as Kazuma died and was revived following his fight with the Demon King's army, and his body was switched with Princess Iris. He also attempted to locate the thief, who was targeting nobility, including Alderp.
The second half of the third season focuses on Darkness, her impending marriage to Alderp, and the curse Maxwell cast on her father.
Fortunately, Kazuma and his companions were able to turn the situation around by banding together to bring Darkness back to their side.
Where to Start Reading the KonoSuba Manga and Light Novel after Season 3
For those who can't wait for KonoSuba season 4 to be announced, anime fans can begin reading light novel volume 8, titled Akushizu Kyoudan vs. Erisu Kyoudan, which has five chapters.
On the other hand, anime fans can begin reading volume 14, chapter 80 of the manga, which follows chapter 79 titled Welcome Home, where the third season left off.
In the subsequent light novel and manga volumes, the story takes new and thrilling turns as Kazuma and his companions confront unexpected challenges and embark on new adventures.
They will return to Axel Town in great spirits, where they will learn about the yearly Eris Appreciation Festival, which Aqua finds difficult to accept. After all, Aqua is a goddess, but there is no festival to honor her!
