One of Netflix's most successful shows is getting a spinoff series to expand its universe. If you've watched To All The Boys I've Loved Before, you'll probably remember Kitty Song Covey (played by Anna Cathcart), the younger sister of Lara Jean (played by Lana Condor). This time around, Kitty's all grown up, ready to be in love, and excited to go on her own adventure in XO, Kitty.

You don't have to wait too long for the release date of XO, Kitty. As revealed by Netflix in the first look clip, the spinoff series will be coming out on May 18, 2023.

There will be a total of 10 episodes of XO, Kitty that will be released on the same day. Each episode will last half an hour.

XO, Kitty is a spinoff series from the hit Netflix film franchise, To All The Boys I Loved Before. Ever since it first came out in 2018, the franchise has launched a total of three movies entitled:

  • To All The Boys I Loved Before (2018)
  • To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You (2020)
  • To All The Boys: Always and Forever (2021)

The official synopsis of XO, Kitty, according to Netflix, reads:

As a spinoff series, XO, Kitty continues on the events from To All The Boys: Always and Forever, where Kitty meets Dae (played by Choi Min-yeong) while vacationing in South Korea with her family. The two start having a long-distance relationship in the movie.

In XO, Kitty, Kitty manages to convince her parents to let her follow her mom's footsteps and study abroad. Coincidentally, the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) is also where her boyfriend is studying. But after traveling to South Korea, Kitty faces some challenges with her own relationship.

Netflix has not yet released the official trailer or teaser for XO, Kitty. But they have released a first look clip of the spinoff series. You can watch it here:
