October has come and this only means it's the month for horror and thriller flicks. We've already compiled our best Halloween movies and TV shows on Netflix. One of the movies included in our list is the upcoming thriller Mr. Harrigan's Phone.
If the title sounds familiar, that's because it's one of famed horror writer Stephen King's stories that you can find in his collection, If It Bleeds, which was released in 2020. The movie version was written and directed by John Lee Hancock. The movie is produced by Jason Blum's Blumhouse Productions, Ryan Murphy, and Netflix.

Back in August, Netflix revealed that Mr. Harrigan's Phone will be coming out on the streaming platform. The film was announced for a release on October 5, 2022 at 12:00 a.m. PT or 3:00 a.m. ET.
What Is Mr. Harriganās Phone About?
Mr. Harrigan's Phone is about a young boy who befriends his wealthy neighbor named Mr. Harrigan. He initially starts working for the rich elderly man but they become friends. Later on, Mr. Harrigan gives Craig (played by Jaeden Martell) an iPhone just before passing away.
As Craig gets bullied at school, he has nowhere else to seek comfort. He dials up his old friend and tells him what has been going on. But as his enemies start falling, he realizes that there's more to the device than just a phone.
