- Quick Answer: Producer Amy Pascal says another Spider-Man trilogy is her dream, but future sequels depend on how Spider-Man: Brand New Day performs at the box office.
While fans are anticipating the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, they are also wondering what's next for the web-slinger in the MCU.
Five years after No Way Home, Tom Holland's Spider-Man is back in a new installment that will explore his next solo adventure and his new phase in life as the world has forgotten Peter Parker. Aside from the excitement about the new film, there are also questions about what's next for the hero after Brand New Day and whether we should expect another installment.
What's Next for Spider-Man After the Release of Brand New Day?

In an interview with SFX Magazine (via ComicBook.com), Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal addressed the future of Spider-Man in the MCU following the events of Brand New Day.
While she confirmed that Marvel Studios and Sony have plans to collaborate again, she remained mum on whether they will produce another Spider-Man movie and noted that it will be dependent on the performance of the upcoming installment.
"Ever since we’ve been making Spider-Man movies with Marvel and the MCU, it has opened up a wealth of opportunity for us," Pascal said.
"Because in the comics, he does interact with all these characters. So that’s been a wonderful opportunity. I never want to be so presumptuous as to say anything is going to be a trilogy or more than one. That would be my dream, of course, but you never know."
The producer added, "The truth is that the rule that we set for ourselves is to take it one movie at a time. It’s important to us that you don’t have to see one movie to see the other movie."
For now, fans should wait for the box office performance of Brand New Day to see whether another installment will be made after. However, based on the early projections, it looks like the producers have nothing to worry about since the film is expected to have a massive opening when it releases later this month.
What to Expect in Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will mark an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves.
Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he's devoted himself entirely to protecting his city, a full-time Spider-Man, but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
The main cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, Mark Ruffalo, and Liza Colon-Zayas.
The film is set to release in theaters on July 31. It will also be available on IMAX in select international markets.
