Tom Holland's Spider-Man may have turned into dust by the end of Infinity War, but he's going to be alive and kicking come Spider-Man: Far from Home next year. Also returning will be the cast of Homecoming, and artist Jane Pica has this cool take on the cast.
Check out this Disney-like rendition of the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming:
Though I do love the takes on the adults and Spider-Man, my favorite lineup has to be of Peter Parker's high-school friends. With the Spider-Man films usually just following Peter alone, I think it's great that Homecoming actually surrounds him with some colorful supporting characters. Not only is Ned fun, but they managed to give a more modern take on Flash as well. I also love how MJ is oozing with personality this time around.
With Far from Home, we're going to have Peter traveling to Europe alongside everyone in his science bowl team. We don't know why exactly they're going to be there, but some set photos suggest that we'll actually be getting a friendship blossoming between MJ and Peter. I know that everyone wants to see the romance, but I think it would be best if they saved that for the third movie.
Fingers crossed Holland will be onboard until a sixth Spidey film. High-school is fun, but I'd like to see Peter get a job and start working for a certain J. Jonah Jameson before Holland hangs up the web shooters.
Catch Spider-Man: Far from Home in theaters July 5, 2019.
