In a recent episode of her podcast Higher Learning, Lindsay reflected on her divorce from Abasolo, which has now been officially finalized.

While she didn't share details regarding the divorce process, she expressed her relief that she is now feeling some freedom.

"I’m divorced. Thank you, God. Give me some freedom music. Some freedom music," she said.

"I haven’t talked, but I will, and I’m just figuring all that out. There [are] so many things that I want to address."

While Lindsay didn't disclose the entire story of her divorce, she also shared the things that bothered her the most during the process.

"On his end, there were certain things that were said to play into certain stereotypes that really were hurtful or bothered me. … Saying things that particularly play into the stereotype of me being an angry Black female," she explained.

Lindsay pointed out the "narrative" where she allegedly prioritized her career over her relationship and having kids.

"Those things are emphatically so not true. To see people run with that because it’s the low-hanging fruit and it fits a certain stereotype were really hurtful," she added.
