In Tsukimichi season 2 episode 12, two of Makoto's students, Jin and Abelia Hopleys, vowed to defeat a demidragon.
They also open up about their past, and Jin remembers his first love, Miranda.
He recounts how there was an orphan girl named Miranda, who was way stronger than him. She was forced to battle monsters and perform other difficult jobs.
He joined her and started helping Miranda. Then one day, the village tasked them to investigate the forbidden forest. During this mission, something changed Miranda completely.

It was the last time Jin saw Miranda as she disappeared, leaving him behind.
What Race Does Miranda Belong to in Tsukimichi? Speculations Explored
Since Miranda is Luto’s offspring, she is also likely from the dragon race. However, her vertical pupil also suggests that she might be from the reptile race.
It is also possible that Miranda/Sofia is some sort of hyuman-dragon hybrid, as it was revealed in the episode that Luto created her in his lab.
How Did Miranda Become Sofia in Tsukimichi?
When Miranda and Jin ventured inside Luto’s lab, she looked at the documents and was shocked.
At that moment, they were attacked by the humanoid chimera. After defeating the beast, Miranda took off, leaving behind Jin.
At present, Sofia ended up at the same spot where Jin and Miranda parted ways. It is then Sofia remembers Jin, but she also reveals that Miranda is long gone.
She also remembered that it was in the same lab that she learned her true name, Sofia.
She then declares that she will kill every last greater dragon there is and will then come after Luto.
