- Quick Answer: Marvel returns to Hall H on July 25, 2026, with expected updates on VisionQuest, Black Panther 3, X-Men, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Marvel Studios will return to Hall H on Saturday, July 25, as San Diego Comic-Con 2026 officially gets underway after the studio skipped last year's event.
Of course, the studio is expected to talk about the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday together with many of its iconic actors.
But aside from its biggest crossover to date, are there any other major projects that could be revealed at the convention? Here's what may come beyond Doomsday
VisionQuest Trailer
After his last appearance in WandaVision, Paul Bettany is back as the synthezoid Vision in the upcoming TV series VisionQuest.
A spinoff of the 2021 miniseries, VisionQuest follows White Vision as he tries to regain his memories and humanity after his original dismantled body was reactivated by S.W.O.R.D.
As the series is making a strong presence at SDCC, with the show's theme seen on the event's first day, it may only be reasonable that its trailer will finally be revealed there.
VisionQuest is set to premiere on October 14, and many of the fall 2026 TV series have already released their trailers. So it would be surprising if Marvel doesn't do the same.
Black Panther 3 Update

Marvel Studios confirmed in December 2024 that Black Panther 3 was in development, with Ryan Coogler returning as its writer and director.
While major details about the film haven't been revealed yet, it's expected to focus on the growth of T'Challa's son, Prince Toussaint. It was also revealed that Denzel Washington would join the film in a major, undisclosed role.
But aside from these details, little is known about the highly anticipated threequel, though Marvel's SDCC panel could finally change that.
With Shuri, M'Baku, and Namor appearing in Avengers: Doomsday, fans may finally get an update on Black Panther 3 from the Wakandans.
The Cast of Marvel Studios’ X-Men Reboot

Marvel Studios may drop a huge surprise at SDCC 2026 with the reveal of the cast for its upcoming X-Men reboot.
With the original Fox X-Men joining Avengers: Doomsday for what is expected to be their final appearance, it may be the perfect time to introduce the new generation of mutants set to carry the Multiverse Saga forward as the original team prepares to say goodbye.
A New Movie in 2027

So far, Avengers: Secret Wars is the only Marvel movie confirmed for 2027, but it seems unlikely that the studio will release only one film that year.
After Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed the MCU's plans through 2042, there will surely be new movies coming aside from Secret Wars.
As Secret Wars is set to reset the MCU, there are several storylines that need to be wrapped up and explored in new films.
So, it's highly likely that a new movie will be announced before Secret Wars arrives.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Of course, as one of Marvel's upcoming films, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is likely to get some attention during the studio's SDCC panel.
Marvel could tease how the film fits into the Multiverse Saga and whether Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) story will lead directly into Avengers: Doomsday.
And who knows? Sadie Sink's mysterious character might finally be revealed there–though we still have our doubts.
