“This season, especially because the kids are seniors in high school now, we're dealing with more confrontational feelings regarding family and what it means to be an adult and what you really see for your life,” Jenna Ortega told Esquire. “It's not really until you get to the precipice of adulthood that you start to realize, 'Oh, God, well, maybe I've got to have a plan.'”
The 23-year-old actress didn’t reveal the “plan” her character would have once the third season ends.
But judging by her answer, it looks like the show is taking a different route – far different from what fans have seen in the first two seasons – as the characters are about to enter their adult years.
