Warning: if you haven't seen the latest episode of WandaVision yet, this article contains SPOILERS so read at your own risk.

The seventh episode of WandaVision wasn't home to a lot of jaw-dropping moments the previous ones offered but that's just my opinion. Still, that's not to say that it was an awful episode because it still managed to drop a major bombshell towards the end that I'm assuming casual fans would be going nuts for.

However, if you've been following the Scarlet Witch's comic book history, this "shocking" reveal wouldn't come as a huge surprise to you.

It's been a huge mystery to a lot of viewers as to who exactly is the main villain of WandaVision and long before the series dropped, there's been speculation that Mephisto could actually be the show's true baddie and again, people with enough knowledge about the comics wouldn't exactly object.

As the series progresses, the show's writers were successful in making it seem like Wanda Maximoff is on her path to the "dark side" and the thought of her being revealed as the actual villain would totally be an interesting swerve despite the fact that she started out as a villain in the comics.

Wanda and Vision's nosy neighbor Agnes has also been the subject of several theories as some fans believe she's actually Agatha Harkness and was sent by either Nightmare or Mephisto. Episode 7 finally unveiled who the show's true villain is and we can now confirm that it is indeed Agnes/Agatha.

When Monica reentered Wanda's pocket reality, she quickly confronted her to convince Maximoff that she's not the enemy. Things get a little physical but Agnes comes in to break things up, telling Rambeau to leave her alone. They later go to Agnes' house and that's where things truly pick up.

As Wanda was asking where her twins are, Agnes says they're probably playing in her basement. Maximoff then heads downstairs to look for Tommy and Billy and much to her surprise, she enters a creepy lair and the boys aren't there. Agnes then makes her spooky grand entrance to reveal that she's in fact Agatha Harkness and that it was her causing all the chaos inside Wanda's pocket reality all along.

It's worth noting that Agnes seemingly takes full responsibility for what has been happening inside Westview and judging by her revelation, it may be a hint that the previously speculated villains like Nightmare and Mephisto may not be appearing in the show after all. Still, we have two more episodes left so never say never.
