How Many Episodes is WandaVision? Leak reveals longer episode count than expected.

Disney+'s WandaVision is confirmed to have nine episodes. The series will release January 15, 2021 at 3:00 AM US EST with a special two-part premiere. Each premiere episode will last a little over 30 minutes long.

It was previously reported that there was a leak for the episode count of WandaVision. Disney is bringing us a ton of new Marvel shows in 2021. The new shows include WandaVision, which will be followed up by Loki (featuring Tom Hiddleston), Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. All of these shows will be considered part of the MCU and canon to the Marvel Universe.

WandaVision will be the first in this series of new shows to release and is scheduled to come out on January 15, 2021 and will end on March 5, which is just two weeks before the release date for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on March 19, 2021. WandaVision had previously been delayed multiple times due to Covid. The series will star Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany as Vision.

It was originally reported that WandaVision would be 6 episodes long, with each episode comprising one hour, which makes sense as it is a limited series and will not be an ongoing show.

Disney revealed in an official press release that the series will be 9 episodes long with a two-episode premiere. The series will air on January 15, 2021 and end on March 5, 2021.

So there you have it, WandaVision will be 9 episodes! That's quite exciting for fans who were expecting the show to be only 6 episodes long.

The WandaVision synopsis is as follows:

"Marvel Studios' WandaVision blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems."

After watching the trailer many fans have wondered how Vision was brought back to life since he was dead after the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Marvel did confirm that the show will be taking place post-Endgame. There's actually quite a bit of speculation, so we will have to wait and see what happens in the first episode of the show.

Another popular question fans have is why is WandaVision in black and white? Rest assured, the entire series isn't filmed that way. It is just parts of the first episode. It was actually an artistic choice by the director, although we believe it will also be used to represent the world of WandaVision unraveling before our eyes.

You won't be able to watchWandaVision without a Disney+ subscription, which will cost $6.99 a month or $69.99 for the annual plan. The series is not expected to release on DVD.
