Riot Games has revealed the big changes coming with the launch of VALORANT Episode 5 Act 1 on June 22, including the game's 8th map, Pearl, the new Battlepass rewards, the removal of Split, and of course, the new weapon skin bundle called Prelude to Chaos.
The Prelude to Chaos Skin Line is inspired by classic sci-fi shooters, and it offers transformation, animations, visual effects, and a variety of other effects. The entire bundle will cost you 8,700 VP (XE Tier), and it includes the following:
- Blade of Chaos Sword (melee)
- Prelude to Chaos Vandal
- Prelude to Chaos Operator
- Prelude to Chaos Shorty
- Prelude to Chaos Stinger
- Prelude to Chaos gun buddy
- Prelude to Chaos spray
The new weapon skins are dark, edgy, and powerful. Riot shared a description for the Prelude to Chaos bundle: "Forged in fire and destruction, Prelude to Chaos knows only carnage. Its thunderous roardestroys all in its warpath, whether human, demon, or the unknown."
Here's a clip of the two-handed Blade of Chaos melee skin:
Of course, you will need Radianite Points (RP) to upgrade the new weapon skins. There are three color variants players can unlock for the weapon skins: Green/Red, Silver/Green, and Blue. You will need to unlock Level 4 to unlock the Kill Banner and Finisher.

The new Prelude to Chaos bundle is definitely one of the best weapon skin collections Riot Games released for VALORANT.
