Fans were fairly excited to see the return of Uncanny X-Men, which many consider as the most recognizable series title for the series. It's going to be a big storyline as well, with the series launching in November as a 10-issue weekly storyline with three writers and multiple artists. Basically, it's going the way of Avengers: No Surrender, which isn't a bad thing when you consider how well that storyline was received.
What fans didn't expect was a giant-sized Uncanny X-Men #1. Most Marvel #1's are 40-page comics that cost US$4.99, something fans don't necessarily like but have accepted. However, the first issue is going to be a massive 72 pages and will cost US$7.99, which is a fair price and should excite fans.

Though we'll never complain about thick comic books, there is some annoyance since fans will have to buy issues #2 and #3, which will cost US$3.99 each. Plus, this is going to be a weekly comic so fans will be spending weekly for this series. Then again, this is the return of Uncanny X-Men so fans might not complain too much. Once again, fans did like Avengers: No Surrender, which was also a weekly series.
Uncanny X-Men #1, #2, and #3 come out in November.
